So I was cleaning out old messages I had that were between a former friend and myself on myspace and I decided to save this portion from one I wrote last June.

Since I love video games and I'm a huge fan of RPGs, I've decided that my favorite class of character is someone who can wield a sword. That being said, my first OC is going to be a swordsman lol. Don't worry, this gets more interesting lol.

I've already come up with a name for my character and even a name for the realm that he comes from. I thought up the names myself lol.

Name: Xaneth(zan-eth)
Realm: Magladesch(mag-lah-desh)

This is a work in progress so both names are subject to change as I develop this further. Ok, now for some back-story about my character and the realm he comes from.

The people from Magladesch are demons. Well, actually they are a proud and noble race that merely have very demonic appearances. Humans are often afraid of them because they believe that Magladeschans are purely evil just because of their outward appearance. They are often misunderstood as the majority of humans refuse to take the time to get to know them. Many have been victims of human prejudice and human cruelty. I haven't decided precisely how I want their appearance to look like yet.

Xaneth is a young Magladeschan at a mere 19 years of age. Ever since he was a young boy he's dreamed of becoming skilled at swordsmanship. For years he would watch the older Magladeschan boys being trained in the Magladeschan sword-fighting style until he was old enough to participate himself. I want to come up with a name for their sword-fighting style but I haven't thought up one I like yet. It should be easier once I develop what the style is all about lol. Xaneth also has another reason for his dream. He's seen so much cruelty done to Magladeschan people by humans that he wants to become skilled enough to defend them all against human cruelty in the future. Xaneth also realizes that there are good people among the humans. He aims to be able to help those people too and prove to humans once and for all that Magladeschan people are actually trustworthy and noble despite what they have always thought. I still need to create much more of his back-story, his family, his friends, and plenty more lol.

This is all I wrote back then. I intended to put further work into this but I never got around to it. Perhaps I may start working on this very idea again, we'll see.
